I’m going to give you the blueprint on building business credit FAST. This has personally worked for me and it can work for you too! *Register your business with the Secretary of State and create an EIN number. ( LLC, S CORP)
*Get a DUNS number for your business.
*Create a business address using a virtual address, if you do not have a physical location for your business. Your home address, mother’s, sister’s or neighbor’s address is unacceptable.
*Open a business bank account. Some of my favorite banks are Navy Fed, Wells Fargo, PenFed and BlueVine.
*Get a toll free number for your business.
*Get a business email address. If your email address ends in gmail.com, iCloud.com, yahoo.com, or anything similar, it’s not a business email address!
*List your business on 411, YELP, Google etc.
Once above steps are completed,
*Obtain 3 active tradelines with ULINE, Quill & Grainger
*Obtain a $10,000 line of credit with Creditstrong.com
*Apply for a gas card
*Apply for a store credit card
Contact the Credit Department from each vendor to confirm that all active accounts will report to your business profile. Always verify!
Sign up for Nav App for business reporting.
Spend $50 or more with each account, each month, for 90 days.
Pay your bill on each account IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!
You now have 6 active tradelines reporting to your business credit all in 90 days!
Congrats! You are now ready to apply for high limit funding.
